Composition No. 5 is one of the more expressive pieces I’ve written at the start of my composition journey. Its harmony is again quite simple and the piece is very minimalistic.

Program note

Composition No. 5 is divided into 10 sections (marked in the score) each being a variation on some simple harmonies based around D minor. The piece is highly energetic and full of action.
