A Composer's note on Composition No. 23
Composition No. 23 is yet another one utilizing the 3:2 polyrhythm to move forward. It has two main ideas: simple arpeggios of various chords centered around c minor and a 3:2 polyrhythm calmer section based on similar harmonies.
