The Christmas Collection

The Christmas Collection is a set of pieces that evoke the spirit of Christmas, not only through traditional carols or holiday songs, but through their uplifting mood, thoughtful orchestration, and timeless character. Each composition in this collection is meant to capture the warmth, joy, and nostalgia of the season, offering listeners a musical journey that feels both familiar and celebratory.

Works of Evil

Works of Evil is an album containing only two pieces. Music for Piano, Voices, and Orchestra is dedicated to the victims of the tragic shooting at the Faculty of Philosophy in Prague just before Christmas 2023. The Third Symphony is dedicated to the victims of Auschwitz. I consider these compositions to confront and reflect pure evil, which is the inspiration behind the title of the album. Both works are intended as a solemn remembrance, confronting humanity with the darkest aspects of our history and present.

Farewell
2025 Digital Album

Farewell

Farewell is an album of my final minimal pieces, and I promised myself that I would not compose in this style again. It serves as my farewell to minimalism, and at the same time, it represents the culmination of my work in this genre. The pieces in this collection are where I feel I refined the techniques and stylistic nuances of my favorite icons—Glass, Reich, and Pärt—bringing their influences together with my own voice to create what I consider my definitive statement in minimal music.

Explorations
2025 Digital Album

Explorations

Explorations is an album of study pieces in which I experimented with a variety of musical styles, ranging from bombastic orchestral textures to big band sounds. These compositions represent another important step in my development as a composer, as they allowed me to prove to myself that I could write music far removed from minimalism—pieces rich in texture, harmony, and, above all, melodic content. Each work in this collection was an opportunity to explore new ideas, techniques, and expressive possibilities, expanding the scope of my musical voice.

Etudes in Minimalism
2025 Digital Album

Etudes in Minimalism

Etudes in Minimalism is one of my most recent collections of minimal music. The set focuses primarily on string instruments, serving as a key stepping stone in my personal development as a composer. Several pieces in this collection mark my first experiments with larger ensembles, allowing me to explore texture, repetition, and gradual harmonic shifts in a more expansive musical space. The collection reflects my interest in the subtle interplay between simplicity and expression, and each etude aims to reveal depth within minimal material.

Counterpoints II

Counterpoints II

Counterpoints II is my last album with my early music. Some of it has been revisited rather recently, but the statement still stands. It features the rest of my older chamber music, now with pieces for not only the piano. It marks the end of a stylistic era of mine in the years 2021 and 2022. The works on this album are the ones I would consider the finest of this period.

Counterpoints

Piano Counterpoint by Steve Reich (or Six Pianos) was one of the first pieces by Steve Reich I ever heard. Once I heard it, I was hooked on the sound of several pianos playing together. Of course, I heard the four-hand piano, even played it, or double piano pieces, but I have never heard SIX pianos all playing together. I decided to create something like that on my own. Steve Reich stopped at number one, I needed to create more.

Grindset
2024 Digital Album

Grindset

Grindset has to be one of my favorite collections. Three pieces are on this album: C minor Madness, F you and In D (minor), all of them very repetitive and autistic. I used to listen to them a lot whilst working, it really helped with concentration.

The title of this album is a meme itself, but the titles of the individual pieces are hilarious to me as well. C minor Madness is derived from Glass’ Mad Rush, F you is just funny on its own (it’s in F major/minor, what did you think the F stands for?) and In D (minor) is derived, of course, from what is sometimes considered the first minimalist composition In C by Terry Reily.

Counterpointing

Counterpointing is my first piece not exclusively for the piano. I composed it a few years ago. Originally, it was supposed to be a little longer and there should have been a closing for the piece. However, I abandoned it and never returned to it and trying to do so now wouldn’t be productive, because my style has changed a lot. The piece thus remains unfinished. There are no themes to speak of, though, so it doesn’t even really feel like one piece.

Works for Piano II

Works for Piano II is the second online collection for solo piano. It contains some of my newer pieces composed primarily in 2022.

Compositions Nos. 16 - 18 are a continuation of my cliché cadence experiments. They are also the last ones to use this harmonic progression as their foundation. Compositions Nos. 19 - 25 are a sort of a farewell to solo piano composition for me as at the time of writing Composition No. 25, I knew I would not return to this kind of composition for a while.

Works for Piano

Works for Piano is my first online collection for solo piano. It contains some of my first written compositions, composed primarily in 2021. This was the year I started composing.

Compositions Nos. 1 - 10 are a sort of introductory cycle to my early composition. Their lengths vary from less than a minute to almost ten minutes. Some of them might be considered radically reductionistic, Composition No. 2 for example is based on just one harmonic movement repeating in different keys. They are all based on The Piano Études by Philip Glass and inspiration can be seen throughout these.
